Align It

At Align It, we work out of Flat No 15 in the A 2 building of the Suncity complex. This is in Anand Nagar, right on Sinhgad Road in Pune. It’s a residential area, so our office feels a lot like a home, which is something we actually quite like. Working on Sinhgad Road means we have to deal with some heavy traffic if we leave at the wrong time, but being based in Suncity makes for a nice environment once you are actually inside. Our flat is set up with all the tech we need to do our IT work, but it still has the kitchen and the balcony which makes it feel less like a stuffy corporate office. We spend most of our time at our workstations, typing away or solving problems for our customers. It’s a small operation, so there is no hierarchy or formal dress code; we just wear what is comfortable and get to work. Pune has such good weather for a lot of the year, so we often leave the windows open to let in a breeze while we work. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees, just a few dedicated people who know their way around a computer system. We usually take turns making tea in the kitchen, and we know most of our neighbors in the building. It’s a simple, honest way to run a tech business without any unnecessary bells and whistles or expensive furniture we don't need.
