Our small office is at number 11 in Fatima Nagar, right across from Parmar Plaza. It’s a busy spot with lots of people coming and going. We mostly spend our time coordinating rides and talking to our drivers over the radio or phones. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a table where we keep the logs. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when all the drivers come in at once for their tea break. We’ve been operating out of Fatima Nagar for quite a while now. The traffic outside Parmar Plaza can be a nightmare during rush hour, which makes timing the pickups a bit tricky. We don’t have a big fleet of shiny new cars, just reliable ones that get the job done. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and checking the time. It’s a simple business. We listen to the rain on the roof during the monsoon and try to keep the cars dry. Customers usually just walk in or call us up when they need to get to the airport or the station. We know the shortcuts around this part of town pretty well. It’s not an easy job with the heat and the roads, but we stay busy. We like the neighborhood and the people who live here. We keep a big calendar on the wall to track all the bookings for the week.
