Friends Tours Travels

Our small office is on the Wanawadi Kondhwa Road, right near the Bank of India. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the bank is. We spend our days tucked away in this little room, surrounded by posters of places we haven't visited in a while and a lot of loose brochures. The road outside is always loud with bikes and buses, and we often have people poking their heads in just to ask for directions rather than a tour. We have a couple of desks pushed together and some old chairs for when customers want to sit and discuss a route. It’s not a high-end travel agency with glossy brochures and uniforms. We’re usually just in our everyday clothes, drinking tea and trying to figure out the best way to get a group to the coast or up to the hills. The floor is a bit uneven and the fan wobbles a little when it's on high, but it’s our space. We’ve been in Wanawadi for a good amount of time, so we know a lot of the families around here who come to us when they need a bus for a pilgrimage or a car for a weekend away. It’s a relaxed kind of place where we just talk through the plans over a cup of chai and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way out.
