Al-Fab

Al-Fab is our fabrication shop located on the Kondhwa-Pisoli Road. We have Plots 14 and 15 in Survey Number 37, which gives us enough space to work on some fairly large metal projects. It’s a typical workshop environment out here on the edge of Pune. There’s always some welding sparks flying or the sound of a metal cutter in the background. The yard is usually full of steel beams and sheets waiting to be used. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings; usually, we just talk to people right there on the shop floor or near the entrance. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but that’s the nature of fabrication work. We’ve been here for a good while, and we’ve grown slowly by just doing the work as it comes. We aren't into big promotional campaigns or anything corporate. We just focus on cutting and joining metal the way our customers ask for. The weather can make things tough sometimes, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we manage. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. We all know the routine and just get on with it every morning. It’s not a glamorous business, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of work leave the shop on a truck.
