Alcatel Lucent India Ltd

Our office is tucked away in F 203 of the Pinnac Kanchanganga building. It's on New D P Road in Aundh, which is quite a busy part of Pune. Alcatel Lucent India Ltd has been running things from here for a bit. The 411007 area is pretty good for food, so lunch breaks are usually the best part of the day. We have a small setup inside this apartment-style office. It isn’t very big, but we make it work with what we have. There are about five of us who are here most days. The desks are a bit cramped because of all the files we have to keep around. Outside, you can always hear the traffic on D P Road, especially during the evening when everyone is heading home. Sometimes the lift in the building is out of order, so we have to take the stairs, which isn't great for our knees. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just about answering emails and making sure the reports are filed correctly. Most of the time, we are just waiting for the weekend. The monsoon here makes the road a bit messy, but the view from the window is decent enough. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else in Pune. It’s a simple routine that we have followed for quite some time now and it works for us day after day.
