Alankar Saloon

Alankar Saloon is located in the Mathura Complex on Sassoon Road. We are very close to Pune Station, which makes it a busy area with people always coming and going. I work here most days, and it's interesting because we get a mix of locals and people who just got off a train and need to tidy up. The complex itself is an old familiar spot for many in this part of Pune. Inside the shop, it's pretty much what you would expect from a local place. We have our regulars who come in every few weeks for their usual trim. Sassoon Road is a landmark in itself, and being near the station means there is never a quiet moment outside. Sometimes the noise from the traffic gets a bit loud, but inside we just keep focused on the hair. We don't do anything too complicated, just standard cuts and shaves for men. The mirrors are old but clean, and we try to keep the place tidy despite how busy it gets. It’s a small space, so you get to know the other customers pretty quickly.
