Working out of Pune has its own rhythm, and being part of Aker Kvaerner Powergas Pvt. Ltd. is basically our daily life. The office is usually humming with the sound of fans and people talking about engineering specs. We aren't in one of those glass skyscrapers; it's a regular place where we get the job done. Most of us have been here for years, so we know each other's coffee orders by now. The work involves a lot of power plant designs and technical drawings that take a long time to finish. Sometimes the deadlines get a bit tight, and you'll see people staying late with piles of paper on their desks. It’s not always pretty, especially when the monsoon rain hits and the traffic outside gets stuck. We just focus on the projects as they come in. There is no big secret to how we do things. We just look at the plans, check the math, and try to avoid mistakes. Pune is a good city for this because there are plenty of people who understand the technical side of things. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make us look fancy. It’s just an engineering office where people come to work, talk about the latest projects, and then go home to their families. We’ve seen the company grow a bit, but the core work is still the same old engineering and powergas stuff we’ve always done.
