Akanksha Packers & Movers

We run Akanksha Packers & Movers out of Bibwewadi, specifically around the 4th Cross and 2nd Main area. This is where we keep our trucks parked and where we store all the empty cardboard boxes and rolls of tape. To be honest, we are not in the office very much. Most of our time is spent at other people's houses, wrapping up their dishes and carrying heavy sofas down narrow staircases. It is a tiring job and we are usually pretty worn out by the time the sun goes down. We have seen just about every kind of house in Pune by now. Some moves are easy and some are a real struggle with too much furniture and not enough space. We do not have a big corporate team or a fancy marketing plan. We just have our trucks and a few reliable men who know how to lift things properly. The office is just a simple place where we take down addresses and phone numbers on pieces of paper. We have a lot of old blankets that we use to wrap up furniture so it does not get scratched in the back of the truck. It is not a glamorous business, but people always need help when they are moving. We just try to get the stuff from one place to the other without too much trouble. It is a lot of driving and heavy lifting, but it is what we do every day. The traffic in Pune can be a headache, but we manage.
