Aims Architects

Our office is in Shaniwar Peth. It is an old part of town with a lot of character, and we like being right here in the middle of it. The streets are narrow and it can be hard to park, but that is the charm of the area. Inside, it is mostly just us working on computers or sketching on big sheets of paper. Aims Architects isn't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We are a small team that likes to get our hands dirty with the details of a project. We spend a lot of time visiting sites around the city to see how things are progressing. It is one thing to draw a wall on a computer screen and another thing to see it being built in the heat. We have had our fair share of mistakes over the years, like everyone else, but we always figure out a way to fix them. Designing buildings in an area like this means you have to be smart about space. Every inch counts when things are this tight. We don't use a lot of flowery language when we talk to our clients. We just tell them what is possible given the budget and the site. Sometimes we have to tell people things they don't want to hear, like a certain design isn't safe or won't pass inspection. It is better to be honest than to have a problem later on. We just focus on the plans.
