Accurate Industries

Accurate Industries is located in the Bhosari Industrial Estate, right by the Modi Sheth Chawl at S 113/8. It is a noisy place because we have several machines running at the same time for most of the day. We do metal work and small parts manufacturing for other bigger companies in the area. The walls are stained with oil and there is metal shavings everywhere on the ground even though we try to clean up every Saturday. It’s a tough environment but the guys who work here are used to the heat and the constant hum of the motors. Bhosari is a place where everyone is making something, so we fit right in. We don't have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a small desk in the corner where we keep the papers and the logbooks. Sometimes the power goes out and everything goes quiet, which is always a strange feeling in an industrial estate. We have been in this same spot for a while now and the neighbors at the chawl all know us. It’s a lot of repetitive work, cutting and grinding and measuring to make sure things are close enough to the right size. We don't make anything fancy, just the basic components that keep other machines running. It’s just a steady job that keeps the lights on and the families fed.
