Our office is in Kalyani Nagar. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of other companies around. At Accenture, we mostly just focus on the work assigned to us each day. The area of Kalyani Nagar has changed a lot over the years, becoming more crowded and noisy. We spend our shift inside the building, mostly at our workstations. There’s a lot of glass and steel around here. It isn’t the most personal place, but it’s where we do our jobs. We take our breaks when we can, maybe walking down the street to get some fresh air or a snack from a vendor. The traffic in Kalyani Nagar can be a real headache during the morning, so most of us try to get in early. Inside, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a big company office. Rows of desks, some meeting rooms that are always booked, and the constant sound of people talking on their headsets. We don't really have a local "shop" feel because the building is so large. But within our specific team, we know each other well. We talk about the weather or the long commute while waiting for the elevator. It’s just a regular place where people come to work. We don't have any special decorations, just the usual office stuff. It’s reliable and we’ve been here in this neighborhood for quite a while now. It just works for us and the commute isn't too bad most days.
