Accenture

Our office is located at 1167 Sadashiv Peth, right on Tilak Road in Pune. This is an old part of the city, and it feels like it. There is a lot of history around these streets. Our building isn't new, but it works for what we need. We are right in the middle of everything, so there is always noise from the street—horns honking and people talking. Inside the Accenture office, we just have a few rooms filled with desks and computers. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in Pune. We just need a place to sit and get the jobs done. Most of us take our scooters to work and park them in the narrow lane nearby. It’s a tight fit sometimes. We usually get tea from the place across the street twice a day. It’s a habit now. There is a small shelf in the corner with some old files and a broken stapler we never threw away. We don't talk much about "visions" or "goals" in a big way. We just look at what needs to be finished by the end of the day and we do it. It’s a very local way of working. The fans hum all day long, and we keep the windows open when it isn't too dusty outside. We are just a regular team of people. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. It’s a simple, honest place to spend the work week.
