Aca Architects

We set up our small office on Bikaspura Road, not too far from Yelachannahalli. It is tucked away at 124 A 2, right where the road starts to get a bit narrow. Working as architects in this specific part of Bangalore means we get to see a lot of the city changing right in front of us. Most of our days are spent hunched over drawings or clicking away at computers. It is not all about making pretty pictures of buildings, though. A huge part of the job is just dealing with measurements and going out for site visits along Kanakapura Road. The traffic around here can be a real nightmare, especially when we have to meet a contractor in the middle of the day. Our office space is usually covered in blueprints, rolls of tracing paper, and too many half-empty coffee mugs. We have a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day we might be designing a small house, and the next we are just figuring out where a drainpipe should go. It is good to see a building actually get finished after months of just talking about it. We do not do the corporate talk or big presentations. We just want to make sure the walls are where they should be and the roof stays up. It involves a lot of back and forth with clients. Some weeks are quiet, but usually, we are rushing to meet a deadline.
