Aakash Painting Works

Aakash Painting Works is based out of Shop No 8 in the Raghunath Apartment building near Shivaji Chowk. Kothrud is a busy area, and we have been working out of this small office for some time. We handle different kinds of painting jobs, mostly for houses and some small shops around here. It's usually me and a few guys who know how to handle brushes and rollers properly. We keep our supplies like ladders and paint cans stored in the back. When someone calls, we go over, look at the walls, and tell them how much paint is needed. I try to be clear about how long a job will take, though sometimes the weather makes the paint dry slower than we want. It’s messy work, but someone has to do it. We spend a lot of time on ladders and moving furniture around so it doesn't get stained. I moved to this spot at Shivaji Chowk because it’s easy for people to find us. You can just walk in and ask questions if you see the shutter open. We aren't doing any big advertising, just working when the jobs come in. Most of the work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It’s a simple living. We just focus on getting the color on the walls and finishing up so the owners can have their rooms back.
