Aakash Eye Hospital

You can find Aakash Eye Hospital over at the Pathare Complex in Chandan Nagar. We are on the 1st floor, right by the Bhaji Mandai. It is a very busy part of the neighborhood. There are always trucks unloading and people carrying bags of groceries around. The stairs leading up to the hospital are a bit steep, but they get you there. Once you’re inside, things are a little quieter than they are on the street. The rooms are filled with various machines for checking eyes. We try to keep the floors clean, but with the market right there, people often bring in a bit of dirt on their shoes. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. The staff usually has a lot of paperwork to deal with. We sit at the front desk and greet people as they come in from the heat. Most of our visitors are from the Chandan Nagar area. They know the Pathare Complex well. We have a small corner where people can sit and wait their turn. It’s not a corporate office; it’s more of a local spot where things are done simply. We have been in this location for a while now, so we are used to the rhythm of the market nearby. The morning starts early for us, getting everything ready before the first person walks in. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, helping people see a bit better. Sometimes we run out of tea in the afternoon, which is the only real problem we have.
