Aakash Eye Hospital

Aakash Eye Hospital sits on the 1st floor of the Pathare Complex. We are right in the middle of the Chandan Nagar-Kharadi area. If you go to the Bhaji Mandai, you’ll find us easily because we’re basically opposite the Garje Market. It gets very loud and crowded out there with all the vegetable sellers and people shopping for their dinner. The smell of fresh produce is always in the air when you walk into the building. Since we are on the first floor, it’s just one flight of stairs up. The waiting area has some old magazines and some simple chairs. We see a lot of people who work in the market or live in the nearby apartments. Dealing with eyes means we have a lot of specialized equipment tucked away in the back rooms. It’s not a huge place, but we use the space we have. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit narrow when people are waiting, but everyone manages. The staff stays busy cleaning the lenses and talking to patients about their vision. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the usual one that points people up the stairs. It’s a local place where you can hear the vendors shouting prices from across the street if the windows are open. We’ve been here for a bit and have become a familiar sight for the regulars at Garje Market. It’s just a normal day of work for us. We just keep things moving along.
