A To Z Furniture Works

A To Z Furniture Works is tucked into a spot at B-41336 in Keshav Nagar, Mundhwa. We’re quite close to Mahatma Pune Chowk, which is a landmark most people in Pune know well. Our workshop is full of wood shavings, saws, and the smell of varnish most of the time. It’s a bit messy and crowded, but that’s how a real carpenter’s shop looks if there is actual work being done. We make all sorts of things, from simple stools to bigger cupboards, depending on what the neighbors ask us for. Some of the tools we use are quite old and have been around for years, but they still work better than the cheap new stuff you find now. We don't have a website or any social media; people usually just see our small sign or hear about us from someone else in the area. The street outside can get quite muddy when the rains come, so we have to be careful when moving finished pieces out to the delivery rickshaws. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been working with wood since they were very young. Sometimes we make a small mistake on a measurement and have to start a piece over again, but we make sure the legs don't wobble before it leaves the shop. It’s a quiet life here in Mundhwa, just cutting and joining wood every day. We don't try to be fancy, we just make furniture meant for use.
