A B Khisty

We've been at New Timber Market 19 for a while now. A B Khisty is the name on the front, right there in Mahatma Phule Peth. Most mornings start early because the timber market gets moving before the sun is even fully up. It's dusty around here, that’s just how it is when you deal with wood and people coming in and out all day. The address is Warje Malwadi but most folks just look for the big pile of stuff near the road. I spend a lot of time just moving things around and making sure the orders are right. Sometimes it’s quiet, but usually, there’s a truck or someone asking about prices. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a practical space where work gets done. You’ll see me or one of the guys sitting near the desk most afternoons. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather gets hot in Pune. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, but the timber market stays pretty much the same. If you’re walking down the lane, you can’t really miss us. We try to keep things organized but it’s a busy spot. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a place like this. Not much to look at, just a regular business doing its thing every day.
