Our office is at Number 436 in Lethpora, which is part of the Pulwama district. Aftab Ahmed Dar runs things from here. If you know the area, you know Lethpora is famous for what grows in the ground around here. We spend our days dealing with the roots and the crops that come from the local land. It is a busy place, especially when the season is right. The house is always full of people coming and going with samples or checking on orders. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We just wear our regular clothes and get our hands dirty when we have to. Working in Pulwama means you are always connected to the rhythm of the seasons. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once. We have enough space to keep the products safe and we spend a lot of time making sure everything is handled carefully. It is not just about the business, it is about being part of the community here. We have lived here all our lives and we know the farmers by name. There is a lot of trust involved in what we do. We just want to make sure the products from our roots get to the people who want them. It is a lot of back and forth but we enjoy the work. The traffic on the road outside can be loud, but inside we just focus on the harvest.
