Our setup is located at 02 Akad in Bejbehara, right where the water is cold enough for the fish. Trout need that clean, freezing water from the mountains, so this spot works well for us. We spend most of our time out by the tanks or checking the water flow. It’s a wet job and your hands are almost always cold, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't a big industrial outfit, just a bunch of us who know how to raise fish. We decided to form this company so we could help each other out with feed and getting the trout to the market before they spoil. It’s a lot of watching the weather and making sure the ponds are just right. If the water gets too warm or too dirty, you lose everything, so we stay pretty focused on the day-to-day tasks. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. If you come by Akad, you’ll see us in our boots working away. It’s practical work. We talk about the fish, the weather, and how to keep the oxygen levels up. Sometimes we meet up at the office to go over the books, but mostly we are outside. It’s a decent way to make a living in this part of the world. We’ve been here for a long time and plan to stay as long as the water keeps flowing. We are just local farmers doing our best with what we have and trying to keep the fish healthy.
