We are situated very close to the EB Power Station, which is a massive building that most people use as a landmark. Being on the main road means there are always people passing by on their way to different towns. The mill has been a part of this village for quite some time now. We have a set routine every morning, checking on all the equipment before we start the day's work. Once the machines are running, it gets pretty loud inside. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy office space here. It is a very basic setup with concrete floors and plenty of dust from the milling process. There are usually heavy bags stacked up high in different corners. We enjoy being in the village because it feels a bit more relaxed than the bigger cities, even with the traffic on the main road. Sometimes we have power cuts, which is funny since we are right next to the power station, but we just manage and wait for things to come back on. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We are just a local business doing our work on the Gingee Main Road and keeping things simple for everyone. It is an honest living for us here in the village.
