Good Food Exim

Good Food Exim is situated at 111, 1st Cross in Sithankudi. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We focus on the export and import of food items, which means our space is often filled with the smell of whatever we’re moving that week. Sometimes it’s spices, other times it’s grains, but there’s always something being weighed or bagged up. The 1st Cross lane isn't very wide, so when a truck comes to load up, things can get a bit tight, but we’ve worked out a system with the neighbors over the years. We aren't a high-tech firm; we mostly rely on old-fashioned scales and a lot of manual checking to make sure everything looks right. The office part of the building is small and mostly used for keeping our records in order. We don't spend money on big signs or advertising because most of our contacts come through word of mouth or long-standing relationships in the trade. It’s a lot of physical work, moving sacks and checking quality, but it keeps us on our toes. The Sithankudi area is a good place to be, and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners on the street quite well. We just show up every morning, see what the orders are, and start the process of getting the food ready for its next destination. It’s just a normal, busy life for us, and we wouldn't have it any other way right now.
