Shine Enterprises has its home at 46, Gandhi Street in the Gandhi Tirunallur part of Mettupalayam. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which we appreciate. We’ve been in this building for quite a few years. It’s a modest place, nothing like the big offices in the city. We have a small group of people working here, and we all know each other well. Most mornings involve a lot of tidying up before the real work begins. We deal with all sorts of daily tasks and it keeps us on our toes. The neighborhood is friendly, and we often see the same faces walking past our door every day. Mettupalayam has a certain pace to it, and we fit right in. We don’t use any high-tech systems or fancy gadgets. We just use what works and get the job done. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. That’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up at number 46 and do our best with what we have. It’s a practical way to run a business.
