S. R. Signs

If you’re driving down 100 Feet Road in Mudaliarpet, you’ll find S. R. Signs right opposite the J.K. Tvs showroom. Being near the RTO means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. It’s a prime spot for a sign shop because everyone is passing by. Our shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got benches set up for assembly and some old shelves for storing materials. The noise from the road is pretty constant, but you get used to the honking after a few days. We do a lot of different work here. Some days it’s small vinyl letters, and other days it’s bigger boards. We don't really have a "front office" feel. It’s more of a garage atmosphere where stuff is actually being made. We don't use any fancy marketing talk when people come in. We just look at what they need and give them a fair price. Sometimes a customer will sit on one of our plastic chairs and have a cup of tea while we talk through a design. It’s a relaxed way of doing things. We’ve been in Mudaliarpet long enough to know the local business owners. We like being right here on the main road. It keeps us in the middle of everything. It’s just us, some tools, and a lot of work to get through before the day ends. We don't mind the long hours as long as the work is steady and the bills get paid.
