Deepa Signs

Down on East Street in Old Saram, you’ll find us at number 61. Deepa Signs has been part of this neighborhood for quite a bit. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We mostly spend our time around the shop floor, making sure everything is lined up right. It gets a bit messy with materials and scraps, but that’s part of the process when you're making things. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's just the shop and us. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello while they’re passing by. We like being in Old Saram; it feels like home. The work we do keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. Usually, someone comes in with an idea, and we figure out how to put it together on a sign. It’s practical work. There’s always the sound of machines or someone talking over the radio in the background. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is.
