Astrovis Technologies Private Limited is tucked away in Perumal Raja Garden. We are at Plot No.10 on the 4th Cross. This part of Reddiarpalayam is a mix of houses and small offices like ours. It’s a pretty calm spot, which is great for the kind of work we do. The building is a simple one-story structure. We have a little area out front where we park our scooters. Sometimes a neighborhood dog comes by and sleeps under the shade of our porch. Inside, the office is just one large room with a few partitions. We have some ceiling fans that hum constantly throughout the day. We don't have any expensive furniture; most of it is stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We keep our own schedules for the most part, as long as the work gets done on time. Reddiarpalayam is a good area because you can find almost anything you need within walking distance. We usually send someone out to get tea and snacks around four in the afternoon. It’s a bit of a ritual for us. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with suits and formal meetings. Most of us just wear t-shirts and jeans. We focus on our technology projects and try to stay out of the heat. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day, and we've grown quite fond of this little corner of Pondicherry. It is just where we happen to work.
