We are set up at No. 25 East Coast Road, right next to Pondicherry University in Chinna Kalapet. Being so close to the university means there is always something happening around here. Sylax Solutions is basically a group of us working on various tech projects and services. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and computers mostly. We spend a lot of time on calls or writing code. It gets pretty quiet in the afternoons when everyone is focused. Sometimes we walk over to the university area for lunch. We started this company because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s been a learning process, that's for sure. We’ve had some long nights trying to get things right. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of our clients just hear about us through word of mouth. It's a simple setup. We like being on the East Coast Road because it’s easy to find. The traffic can be a bit much during the day, but we don't mind. We just focus on the tasks at hand. If you’re heading towards the university, you’ll pass right by us. We’re usually in by nine and stay until the work is finished. It's just a normal office where we try to get things done without too much trouble.
