You can find us at No. 31-B1, on the ground floor of Kaja Mohindeen Lane in Pondicherry. It is a bit tucked away, which is actually how we like it. The lane is one of those typical Pondicherry streets, a little narrow but full of life. At Afraa Technology, we spend our days dealing with various tech projects in our small ground-floor space. It stays a bit cooler inside than out on the street, which is a relief given the humidity here. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of staff in uniforms. It is just a few of us at our desks, surrounded by cables and monitors. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, though you hear the occasional scooter zipping past the door. We started this because we wanted a simple place to work on technology without the overhead of a big city office. Our neighbors are mostly families and small shops, so it feels very much like a community. We try to keep our work straightforward. If someone comes in with a question, we just talk to them like normal people. There’s no marketing talk here. We just handle the technical bits and pieces as they come. Sometimes the salt air from the coast makes things feel a bit different, but it’s just part of living in Pondy. We’re happy with our little spot in the lane and the way we get things done without making a big deal of it.
