Zillaparishadh High School

This Zillaparishadh High School is located right in the heart of the city area in Allahabad, under the 211003 pin code. Being centrally located means we are right in the thick of things. It’s a high school, so we have students from various grades coming in every morning. The building is an old structure, typical of the government schools in this part of Uttar Pradesh. It has seen many batches of students pass through its doors over the years. We don't have fancy air conditioning or marble floors. Instead, we have high ceilings with old fans and sturdy benches that have survived many school years. The hallways are narrow and can get quite crowded when classes change. Because we are in the city, the outside noise is constant—street vendors, rickshaws, and general city life are always heard through the windows. We have a small assembly area where we gather in the mornings. It’s a place where the focus is on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids pass their boards. The staff is local, and many of us have been working here for a long time. It’s a busy, somewhat dusty, but functional place. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a local school providing education to the kids in this neighborhood.
