Zafar Mens Beauty Parlours

Zafar Mens Beauty Parlours has been part of the Attarsuiya Road area for a good while. We are situated at 1127 Kalyani Devi, right on Soukat Ali Road. If you find the Hari Mazhar, you are pretty much there. In Allahabad, the summers are tough, so our ceiling fans are always running at full speed. It’s a typical men’s shop with the old-style chairs and mirrors that have seen better days. We do a lot of shaves and quick haircuts for the guys living around here. It’s a place where people come to talk about the local news or the weather while they wait their turn. We don't have any fancy booking system; you just walk in and sit on the bench. Sometimes it gets busy on Sunday mornings and the shop is full of talk and the sound of clippers. We try to keep the floor swept, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant job. The neighborhood is lively, and we see all sorts of people from students to the older men who have lived here forever. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure nobody leaves looking messy. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated about it. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the last customer is done.
