Chacha Hair Cutting Saloon is located on Vivekananda Marg in Allahabad. Most people just look for the Jhonstonganj Crossing and they can find us pretty easily from there. I have been in this spot for a long time, and that is why everyone just calls me Chacha now. The shop is my second home. It is on Vivekananda Marg, which is a place that stays busy from morning till night. My shop is not a fancy place with air conditioning or big posters on the walls. It is just a simple room with the tools of the trade. I have my scissors, my spray bottle, and my straight razors. I spend a lot of time sharpening the blades. Allahabad is a city where people like to talk, so there is always a conversation going on in my chairs. We talk about the politics, the weather, or the Ganges. I don't have a big staff, just myself and sometimes a young boy who helps sweep the floor and bring tea for the customers. The address is 211003 and we are right in the heart of the action. Some days the heat is too much and we just sit and wait for the evening breeze. I don't think I will ever leave this place. It’s what I know. People come in looking messy and leave looking a bit better, and that is enough for me. No need for anything fancy. I just do my work every day.
