Himanshu Harbal Beauty Parlour

You can find us in Mansoorabad right at the Main Churaha on Mundera Road in Allahabad. It is a very busy intersection so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic going by all day long. We call it Himanshu Harbal Beauty Parlour because we like to use things that are a bit more natural when we can for the skin and hair treatments. The shop is just a simple room with a few stations for customers. We don't have any air conditioning so it gets quite warm during the summer months but we have some big fans that keep the air moving at least. Most of the ladies who come here are from the local area and they just want a simple service without having to pay the high prices you find in the bigger markets. We do threading and facials and sometimes we help out with bridal makeup if someone in the neighborhood is getting married. It is a bit of a family feel here because we have known many of our customers for years now. We usually have the radio playing some old songs in the background while we work to drown out the car horns. It isn't a fancy place by any means but we do our work honestly and try to make everyone feel welcome when they step inside from the busy road. It is just a part of the daily life here in Mansoorabad.
