Youraj Gents Parlour

Our shop is located on Clive Road in the Rajapur area of Allahabad. We are very close to the Hanuman Mandir, so we hear the prayers and the bells quite often throughout the day. The shop is called Youraj Gents Parlour. It’s a small, practical space with three chairs and a long mirror that runs across the wall. We have some old posters up and a small TV that usually stays on the news channel. People from Rajapur come in when they need a shave or a trim before they go to work. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The street outside can get pretty crowded with people going to the temple or the market. We keep a few stools outside for when it gets too full inside. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out from all the walking, but we keep them as clean as we can. It’s a simple life here on Clive Road. We know the neighbors and the people who sell tea nearby. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and they walk in when they see the door open. We focus on the work, handling the scissors and the clippers from morning till night. It’s just a regular gents' parlour where anyone can come in, sit down, and get their hair sorted out without any complications or high prices.
