The Institute (Education Centre)

You can find The Institute (Education Centre) over in Shiva Complex, which is located on Bank Road in Allen Ganj. Since we are right in the 211002 area of Allahabad, we are surrounded by a lot of other businesses and offices. There is a hospital nearby that serves as a good landmark for anyone trying to find Shiva Complex for the first time. The area is always crowded, especially during the morning and evening hours when people are commuting. Inside the complex, it can be a bit of a maze sometimes, but we are settled in and our regulars know exactly where to go. We decided to call it simply The Institute because we wanted to keep things basic and focused on the learning. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just us and the students in a couple of rooms that we’ve set up as best as we could. The walls might need a bit of fresh paint here and there, but the desks are sturdy and the lights work, so that’s what matters most. Being near the hospital and other shops means there is always somewhere to grab a tea or a quick snack during breaks. We’ve grown fond of the chaos of Bank Road over the years we've been here. It feels like the heart of the city, and we are just glad to have a small corner in it to do our work.
