Our place is located on Stanley Road in Allahabad. It's not a quiet street by any means. There is always a bit of noise from the traffic and the people moving about. We run a stone crusher business here, which basically means we spend our whole day dealing with rocks and machinery. The machines are old but they still work okay most of the time. When things break down, we spend the afternoon trying to fix them ourselves instead of calling someone from outside. It saves money and we know how the gear works anyway. People know us as Sugauti Stone Crusher. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and handle the bills. It gets quite hot in the summer, so the fan is always running, even if it just moves the warm air around. My father started this and now we just keep it going because it’s what we know how to do. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs crushed stone for a project, they usually just drive over or give us a call on the mobile. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the stone and hope the trucks don't get stuck in traffic on the way out. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up.
