Stylo Gents Parlours

You can find Stylo Gents Parlours at 53A/34A S.C. Basu Road. We’re tucked away in the Bahadurganj area of Allahabad. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and lots of history. The shop has been here for a while, and it’s where a lot of local men come to get their hair cut or a beard trim. We don’t have any fancy lights or music, just the sound of the scissors and the fans overhead. The space is a bit small, but we’ve managed to fit in three chairs. Usually, there’s a bit of a wait on Sundays because that’s when everyone is off work. We keep some old newspapers around so people have something to read. I started working here after my dad retired, and I’ve kept things mostly the same. We use regular soap for shaves and simple combs. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find celebrity styles, but we know how to do a proper, clean cut. People in Bahadurganj know us well, and we know them. Sometimes the neighborhood kids come in for their first haircut, and they usually cry a bit, but we give them a sweet afterwards. It’s a simple business.
