Ssg Unisex Salon

We are over at Bunglow Number 6 on Clive Road in the Civil Lines area. It is a nice part of Allahabad, quite close to G.H.S. and the Lat Girija Ghar. Being a unisex salon, we get men and women coming in for all sorts of hair work throughout the week. Some want a quick trim and others stay for a long time getting their hair colored or treated. The building has that old feel to it which is common in this part of town. We have a few chairs set up and some mirrors that we try to keep polished. It is not a huge place, so it can get a bit loud when everyone is talking at once. We don't really do much advertising because people just walk in or hear about us from friends. The tea stall nearby brings us chai when we are very busy. We handle beard trims, hair washes, and basic skin stuff. It is just me and a few guys working here. We try to keep the music at a decent volume so everyone is comfortable while they wait. On Sundays, the wait can be a bit long, so people usually sit outside for a bit. It is a straightforward shop. We don’t have fancy robes or anything like that, just standard towels and capes. We like being in Civil Lines because everything is reachable from here. We just do the work and go home.
