Sajni Beauty Parlour

Our little shop is located at Cc-4 in GTB Nagar, right in the Kareli area of Allahabad. It’s a quiet enough street most days, though the evening gets a bit more lively. Sajni Beauty Parlour has been here for years, serving the women who live in the nearby houses. We do the standard things like waxing, threading, and maybe a facial if someone has a wedding to attend. The flooring is a bit old and sometimes the water pressure isn't great, but we make it work. I’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they bring their own children in. It feels like a big family sometimes. We have a couple of chairs and some basic products on the shelves. It’s not one of those big malls where nobody knows your name. Here, we know if you like your eyebrows thick or thin. Sometimes we run out of towels and have to wait for the laundry to come back. The air conditioner works most of the time, but we keep the door open in the winter for the breeze. It's just a regular place for regular people. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a simple door and a place to sit while you wait your turn. Most people just walk over from their homes and we talk about whatever is happening in the news while I work on their hair.
