Pragtisheel Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited

We've been working out of the Karanpurkuti area in Sirathu for a while now. Most of the folks here know us as Gyan Singh’s place. It’s basically just a group of us farmers who decided to get together and handle things ourselves. Farming is hard work, and doing it alone is even harder. That’s why we started this producer company. We spend most of our days out in the fields or meeting up at the office to figure out how to get our crops sold. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. There’s usually dirt on the floor and a lot of loud talking about seed prices and the weather. Sirathu is a small place, so everyone pretty much knows everyone. We try to keep things simple. If there’s a problem with the harvest, we sit down and talk it through until it’s sorted. It’s just us local people trying to make a living from the land. Sometimes the rains don't come when they should, and other times we have too much work to handle, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some big city corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal for the hard work they put in every single day. If you stop by, you’ll probably find Gyan Singh or one of the others drinking tea and looking over some paperwork. That is just how we do things here.
