Om Sai Fast Food

You can find our food stall in the Sulem Sarai area of Allahabad, right on N.H.2. We are situated very close to the Sulem Sarai crossing, which is a place that never really stays quiet. There are always rickshaws, cars, and people moving around the 211001 area. We serve fast food to anyone who is hungry and passing by. Most of our customers are students, office workers, or people just traveling through the city on the highway. We have a small setup where we cook everything right in front of you. It gets quite smoky and hot around the stove, but that is part of the job. We make things like chowmein, burgers, and other quick snacks that people like to eat on the go. The ingredients are bought daily from the local market so we don't have to store much. On some days, especially in the evenings, there is a big crowd and we have to work very fast to keep up. It is not a fancy restaurant with air conditioning; it is just a local fast food joint where you can get a quick bite. We focus on making the food hot and serving it quickly. It is a simple life running a stall like this, but we enjoy the daily interactions with the people of Allahabad who stop by our counter. We clean up every night and get ready to do it all again the next morning.
