New Star Hair Gents Parlour

We are located right on G T Road in Sulem Sarai, specifically in the Jayantipur part of Allahabad. The shop is pretty easy to spot once you get near the main road traffic. It is just a regular place where men come to get their hair cut or a quick shave before heading to work. We have been in this spot for a while now and the neighborhood people know us well. Inside, there are the usual barber chairs and mirrors that have seen a lot of faces over the years. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast during the morning rush, so we spend a lot of time with the broom in our hands. It gets noisy sometimes with the trucks and buses passing by outside on the G T Road, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or anything like that, just some fans that keep the air moving while we work. Most of our customers are locals from around Sulem Sarai who just want a decent trim without making a big deal out of it. We keep our scissors sharp and the spray bottles full. Sometimes the water runs a bit slow in the sink, but we manage just fine. It is a simple life running a shop here. We open up early and stay until the last person leaves in the evening. There is always tea being shared and talk about what is happening in Allahabad.
