Allahpur is a lively part of Allahabad, and that’s where you’ll find Hemant Tecnofarm Limited. We are tucked into the B H Scheme area, specifically at the address 1203/23/47/124. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s where we do all our planning and office work. We try to bring a bit of modern technique to the old way of farming. It isn't always easy because technology can be temperamental and expensive for small growers. We spend a lot of time tinkering with tools and looking at data, but we still have dirt under our fingernails at the end of the day. The office is usually cluttered with machine parts, papers, and tea cups. Allahabad can get incredibly hot, which makes the field work draining. We don’t have a marketing department; we just have a few people who know how to run a business. Our goal is to make farming a bit more efficient using what we’ve learned over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the farm operations run smoothly. There are plenty of days when the tech doesn't work and we have to go back to basics. That’s just how it goes. We are local people working in a local neighborhood, trying to keep up with the changing times. It’s practical, it’s often messy, and it’s what we do every day here in Allahpur.
