Desi Farmers Retail Private Limited

Our place is located at Naya-82 in Puraiya Khera, over in the Mayapuram part of Alam Nagar. We decided to set up this retail company because there seemed to be a gap between what farmers grow and what people in the city can actually buy. It is a small operation, mostly run by a few of us who know the area well. We spend a lot of time talking to local growers and figuring out how to get their stuff into the shop. Sometimes the shop is a bit cluttered, and we are usually busy moving boxes around or checking the inventory. It isn't a high-end supermarket or a polished chain store. It is just a local business in the neighborhood. We focus on the things that people around here actually need for their kitchens. People stop by, have a chat, and pick up what they need. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word usually gets around the street pretty fast anyway. Dealing with fresh stuff can be tricky, especially when the trucks are late or the heat is bad, but we manage. We’ve lived around Alam Nagar for a while, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s just us doing our thing in Puraiya Khera, trying to keep the shelves stocked and the business running as best as we can every single day.
