Avon Mens Hair Saloon

Avon Mens Hair Saloon has been at 3A, Jln Road in Tagore Town for a long time. We are right opposite Sachan Nursing Home, so people use that as a landmark to find us. Allahabad can get really hot in the summer, so the ceiling fans in our shop are almost always running at full speed. It’s a typical men’s saloon where guys come to talk about the news or just sit quietly while they get a shave. The chairs are old-fashioned and heavy, the kind that last forever. We keep our scissors sharpened and our razors ready. It’s not a place with fancy lights or expensive products, just simple stuff like talcum powder and aftershave that smells familiar. Most of our customers are from Tagore Town, and we know exactly how they like their hair cut without them even asking anymore. Sometimes the shop gets full and people have to wait on the wooden bench by the wall, reading old newspapers. We don’t rush things because a good shave takes time. The view out the front window is mostly just the nursing home and the bikes parked on Jln Road. It’s a quiet routine we have here. We open up early, drink some tea between customers, and stay until the sun goes down. It is just a regular local shop for regular people who want a decent haircut.
