Arima Mens Salon

Arima Mens Salon sits on Taskand Marg in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. If you know where the Haldiram is, we are just a short walk away from there. It is a busy part of town with a lot of offices and shoppers walking around all day long. Our shop is where men stop in when they need to look a bit sharper for an interview or a family wedding. We have a couple of guys working here who have been handling scissors for years. The chairs are comfortable enough, even if the leather is getting a bit thin in some spots. We don't put on any music usually, just the sound of the clippers and the chatter from the street outside. The mirrors are large and we try to keep them clean, though dust from the road always finds its way in. It is not a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide a place for a man to sit down for twenty minutes and get his hair sorted out. We see all kinds of people, from students at the university to older men who have lived in Civil Lines their whole lives. The sink is always busy and we go through a lot of towels every day. Working near Taskand Marg means there is never a dull moment with the traffic and the crowds passing by our front door.
