Aiswariya Beauty Parlour & Training Centre

The shop is located right at Bairahana Chauraha in Allahabad. It is a very easy place to find because the crossing is always full of people and rickshaws. We have been here on the Main Road for a good while now. It is a bit different from other shops because we also have a training centre here. I spend my time doing regular beauty work like haircuts and makeup, but I also teach girls who want to learn the trade. We have a few rooms set up for the classes. It gets quite loud sometimes when everyone is practicing at once. I think it is important for people to have a skill they can use to earn a living. The parlour side stays busy with ladies coming in for threading or getting ready for a function. Allahabad can be very humid, so we deal with a lot of hair issues related to that. I try to keep things organized but with the students around, there is always something happening. We have all the basic equipment and benches for people to sit. I don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just a place to get some work done or learn how to do it yourself. Most of my clients are people who live right here in Bairhana. We see the same faces every week. It’s a busy life but I wouldn't want it any other way. We just keep the doors open and do our job.
