Mvr Tiles. You can find us at 56/94-7 on the Kamepalli - Kondapi Road in Kondapi. It’s a good location because we get people traveling between the two towns. The shop is basically a large shed filled with all kinds of tiles. We don’t have any air conditioning, so we rely on the big open doors. It can get pretty warm in the summer months. I spend my time unloading trucks and checking that none of the tiles got cracked during the journey. It’s physical work and your hands get rough after a while. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is. We have these heavy wooden pallets all over the floor. Sometimes we have to move ten boxes just to get to the one at the bottom. It’s not always efficient, but it’s how we do it. People from the nearby villages often come in with their measurements written on the back of an envelope. We help them choose something that fits their budget. The road outside is busy with trucks, and sometimes they kick up a lot of dust that blows into the shop. We just sweep it out and keep going. We aren’t a big corporation, just a local business on the road to Kondapi. We take pride in just being here and having what people need when they decide to finally tile their floors or walls.
