Cmr Granites

We are located out in the IDA area of Markapur, right near the APIAC. This area is known for stone, so there are many of us around here. Our yard is where we keep all the granite. Markapur gets quite hot, so working outside with the stone is pretty grueling. We have different shades and thicknesses depending on what the local builders are asking for. It’s mostly granite slabs, some polished and some raw. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. You need a lot of strength and some basic machinery to move these things. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of machines or trucks idling nearby. We don’t have a big corporate setup. It is just a workspace and a place to keep the inventory. When someone walks in, they are usually looking for something specific for a kitchen or a staircase. We walk them through the rows of stone. It is a very practical business. We deal with the dust and the heat every day. Most of our day is spent checking the slabs that arrive from the quarries to see if they have cracks. We see people from the town and also contractors who are working on bigger projects in the district. It’s just steady work. We’ve been here long enough that people know the name. We just focus on keeping enough stock so nobody has to wait too long for their stone.
