Edibles

Our place, Edibles, is located over at 17 Bajanai Madam Street in Muthirpalayam. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, though you get the occasional bike zooming past. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s a simple setup, really. We handle various food items and try to keep everything moving so nothing sits around for too long. The front door sticks a little when it’s raining, but we’re used to it. Inside, there’s usually a lot of crates and bags piled up against the walls. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few local folks who know the neighborhood. You can usually find one of us sitting by the window checking the inventory list. It’s the kind of place where neighbors stop by to say hello while we’re unloading the van. Sometimes the street gets a bit flooded when the monsoon hits hard, but we just put some sandbags out and carry on. It's just part of being in this area. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day. The shelves are mostly full and we try to keep the floors swept, though dust always finds its way in from the street. It feels like a real part of Muthirpalayam here. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we all look out for each other. It’s just how things are done on Bajanai Madam Street.
