Vinod Kumar Traders

Vinod Kumar Traders is basically me and a couple of others working out of the spot in Subhiksha Colony. If you know the area, we are right behind the Sakkammal Koil. It’s pretty easy to find once you get past Kavitha Nagar. Most days we spend our time checking through the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. We handle various goods and stuff that people in the area or other businesses need. It gets busy. In the mornings when the deliveries come in, we have to unload the trucks. We’ve been at No. 3/252B & C for a while now. The office isn't anything fancy. It's just a practical space where we can get the paperwork done and talk to people who drop by. Sometimes the traffic near the temple makes things a bit slow, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things organized. But sometimes the piles of crates get a bit high in the corners. It’s a local operation, nothing too big or complicated. We just focus on getting the items out to the folks who ordered them. People usually call ahead. Or they just stop in if they are nearby. The neighborhood is quiet enough for most of the day, which helps us stay on top of the orders. We just do our work, keep the records straight, and close up once the sun goes down. It is just a regular trading life here.
